ADOPT A SMILE is a legally registered non-profit social service organization in Kenya under the Ministry of East Africa Community, Labor and Social Protection the Department of Social Development office in Nairobi Kenya.

Oral Health Education

We partner with schools and other children centers to promote good oral health and increase awareness among children with a goal of always preserving natural teeth.

Bright Smile Toothbrushing Clubs

Bright smile children’s toothbushing club is one of the most powerful programs through which we have a unifying message of behavior modification with emphasis on the right brushing techniques and times.

Adopt A Smile Campaigns

This program provides opportunity for individuals, corporates/businesses to directly support the program and drive transformation by creating long-lasting smiles to the underserved children in Kenya.

Give a child a reason to smile

For thousands of school-going children in underserved communities in Kenya, a toothbrush, toothpaste and basic oral hygiene and health education are not guaranteed. Yet a simple good oral hygiene instruction can protect a child from early childhood caries, pain and infections, missed school days, tooth loss as well as low self esteem. Since 2021, ADOPT A SMILE has been working to change this narrative through free oral health education and hygiene instructions and distribution of oral hygiene kits.

Since the time ADOPT A SMILE team visited our school and introduced oral health clubs, we have seen lots of improvement in self confidence among learners who previously had bad breath and could not easily interact with their peers.
